Nine years ago, I went to filmmaking school in Manchester where I quickly decided the film industry wasn’t for me. While figuring out my next move, I conveniently had access to a lot of high-end film equipment, which I started using to shoot promotional videos for local businesses. That’s what sparked my shift towards digital marketing. From creating promo videos, I moved into social media management, and after taking the scenic route around the digital marketing industry, I found my niche in Meta Ads where I specialised.
Originally from the UK, I moved to Canada in 2022 and now live in Whistler full-time as a permanent resident.

Over the years as a freelance Meta Ads specialist, my biggest takeaway is this:
Too many agencies still run ad campaigns like it’s 2018. They stick to outdated strategies because they’re afraid of risking their commission with big overheads. I’m not.
